Nice job decorating the place. I'd like to go there and try the food, but every time we are up for Memorial Day, Labor Day, or the 4th of July they are closed. I understand people need holidays off to spend with their families, Obviously the owners don't care about generating a profit if they are closed on the busiest days of the year.

Stopped by on 3 Jan and tried their 5 piece perch dinner. Comes with fries and cole slaw. All was excellent, will return. Their breakfast menu looks pretty good--will have to try.

What can I say...excellent food, atmosphere and service. Breakfast was perfect and I will be back for lunch. A definite jewel and must try when in the northwoods!!!

Great little place for lunch. Haven't tried breakfast yet. Food is great and small but diverse menu. All homemade type food. No credit cards but they do have an ATM.

I was excited to try this place with my family, and on our way out after vacationing we decided to try it for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We walked in (with 2 little gils, 4 yrs and 17months) and were told there would be about a 15 minute wait. Understandable for a Saturday. We waited for about 5 minutes when another group of four came in. They were told about the wait, and then asked about sitting outside. I didn't know about the outside seating, and asked if we could sit out there too after the second group was told that they could. We then sat down and ordered. About 30 minutes go by when our waitress comes back to fill our coffees and ask how we're doing. "Just waiting for our food" we replied. She told us it was almost done. Some time passes and the second group got their food, and we continue waiting. About an hour in total of waiting at our table passes, and the second group has finished eating while we haven't seen our food. My wife goes inside and only hears that our food will be out soon (again) and that the were swamped (there were seats still open). So nothing but excuses, and never an apology for our wait. That was the last straw. We decided to leave and get some fast food on the way home. Not what we expected for breakfast that morning, but our 4 year old couldn't wait anymore. So don't go there hungry, because you'll leave there starving.
